I’m a Lighting and Compositing Artist and Supervisor with over a decade of experience in animation, visual effects, and real-time cinematics.
I spent nearly nine years at DreamWorks Animation, where I worked my way from Lighting and Compositing Artist to Lighting and Compositing Supervisor. During my time there, I worked across a wide range of productions, including Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, Curses, Kung Fu Panda: Paws of Destiny, Fast & Furious: Spy Racers, The Boss Baby, DinoTrux, and Dragons: Rescue Riders. As a supervisor on Be@rBrick and Madagascar: A Little Wild, I was responsible not only for establishing and maintaining the visual look of projects, but also for developing lighting and compositing tools and workflows to help artists work efficiently within production schedules.
More recently, I spent the last year and a half working in the games industry, focusing on real-time cinematic lighting in Unreal Engine. I was responsible for lighting cinematics for Star Wars: Zero Company and the upcoming game Exodus, working closely with cinematic and art teams to translate established visual direction into final shots.
Before joining DreamWorks, I worked at LOGAN as a Generalist, contributing to a variety of projects across lighting, compositing, texturing, and shading. I also developed Python scripts to help optimize and streamline production workflows.
I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2013 with a BFA in Visual Effects.
My primary areas of expertise are lighting and compositing, with additional experience in look development, texturing, Unreal Engine, and Python scripting. I particularly enjoy the combination of artistic and technical problem-solving that comes with creating a final image and developing the tools and workflows needed to achieve it efficiently.
Outside of work, I play competitive dodgeball internationally and medaled for Team USA at the World Championships in 2016, 2018, 2019, 2022, and 2024. I also enjoy board games, video games, musical theater, guitar, snowboarding, and skateboarding.
